Due to not having anywhere to fly from anymore, i'm having to sell my Skylark 3B. I've owned the glider for a few years now, but only manged to get 4 flights in her, before having to move away!!
Built in 1958 and had 4 owners prior to landing in my hands (no pun intended!) She has a great racing and comp history and was based at Milfield from 1972 till 1983, so she's been in good hands.

Cosmetically, she's a bit flakey in some places. Tail fin and some areas on the wings. I believe her orginal colour was red, but she's now a nice shade of blue! I can't recall when this colour was applied, but it's all in the logs. The canopy has some scruffing just aft of pilots head area, so not directly in area of view! This should come out fine with some MircoMesh. Extra care needs to be taken when removing/putting glider in the trailer, due to the bubble canopy. Also the tailplane was recovered in ceconite and resprayed in 2009 or 2010.

The trailer is in roadworthy condition. Aluminium skinned and fibreglass roof. An odd mixture i know, but it seems to work well! Tows really nicely on the road. It is missing a mudguard, so the marker lights don't work, but all other lights were working fine the last I checked! A small section of the floor frame where the door is, has rusted out, but it's nothing serious. A good welder should be able to fix it up in a few hours. This doesn't effect the trailer on the road. If you would like pics of said rust, please PM me and i'll send you some pics. I have recently replaced the LH tyre, with an economy tyre, due to the old one being cracked. The other is fine.

The glider has 3089HRS and 4938 launches. These figures are exlcuding my 4 short flights. Barely 2 hours worth! She's a bit overdue for a CofA, so this will need to be sorted by whoever purchases her. Presuming she sells....

I'm sure i've missed a few things out, so please don't hesitate to PM me and i'll try my best to answer any questions you have. Really need her gone ASAP as she's currently sitting in the driveway at home! Located on the North Norfolk coast. Unfourtuantly I don't have a vehicle with a tow bar, so rigging her isn't an option, but i'm happy to pull the fuselage out into garden for viewing.

I'm asking for £1000 ono, as really need her gone!! Would love to think she could be flying this summer!

Fingers crossed someone is interested. Cheers guys!

If you prefer, i'm happy to text people details about the aircraft. I prefer not to answer calls from unknown numbers!
