Single engine light four seater land aeroplane manufactured by Reims Aviation S.A. in France in 1979 under license by Cessna.The following three STCs have been applied on this aeroplane:
- FAA STC SA703GL leading to the replacement of engine/propeller by a Lycoming 0-360-A4M engine (180 HP), a Sensenich 76EM8SPY-0-60 propeller and an increase of MTOW to 2550 lbs. EASA MINOR CHANGEAPPROVAL Certificate 10047588 has been issued.
- FAA STC SA1-193 allowing the removal of RHS (co-pilot) seat, yaw and door for skydiving and other operations such as aerial photography. Correspondence with EASA is available regarding acceptance by EASA.
- EASA STC EASA.IM.A.S.01956 allowing the aeroplane to operate on leaded and unleaded automotive gasoline but also with intermix of MOGAS & AVGAS 100LL.
Exterior: White with blue stripe. Repair in aft end of wing station 208 in the UK (1988) and returned to service. Original painting. Local paint wear spots require treatment and repainting and some plastic parts replacement.
Interior: White and blue side panels. Original carpeting. New blue and grey seat covers installed (FAA certified). Certain plastic panels in the cabin need replacement and back seat needs repair.
Airframe TTSN: 3950 hrs (December 2013).
Engine: Textron Lycoming 180 HP O-360-A4M (Serial No: RL-33515-36A).
450 hrs since last general overhauled to “zero hrs” limits in Roeder Praezision in Germany in December 2006. STC Mogas (EASA certified).
Propeller: Sensenich two-blade fixed pitch propeller 76 EM 8 SPY-0-60 Serial No: 28574K. TTSN 1450 hrs (December 2013).
Full logs, ADs/SBs for airframe, engine and propeller covered to date.
Aircraft under CAMO since June 2009. CAMO/HCAA approved maintenance program. Next ARC: May 24th 2014.
New battery, alternator and long life fuel and oil hoses. Second Altimeter. Pitot Heat. Alternate Static Port. 4 Life jackets.
