I am a 3500+ hour single-engne, multi-engine, and instrument rating FAA (USA) flight instructor presently residing in Cambridge UK. I have trained several hundred students over the 13+ years that I have held instructor ratings.

In order to fly more and to meet interesting people, I would like to offer my services, free of charge (except for some consideration for my direct expenses such as petrol should I need to drive or airline to meet you at your location). I can provide FAA Biannual Flight Reviews, Instrument Currency Checks, and general training.

I can provide flight instruction on single and multi-engine airplanes. This includes tailwheel-type aircraft, seaplanes, turboprop, and turbojet aircraft in addition to both standard and "technically advanced" standard airplanes.

I am willing to travel theoretically anywhere in England and Wales, though generally, there must be a compelling reason for me to travel more than an hour or two from Cambridge or the aerodrome where I tend to spend relatively more time these days, Duxford.

Likely targets of my offer are *ALREADY FAA CERTIFIED PILOT* owners or operators of N-registered aircraft in the UK. Regulations make training new pilots under FAA rules in the UK an unlikely (though not impossible) proposition though there is a fair amount of paperwork and fees involved. Any and all training that I would do would be strictly in compliance with applicable US and UK regulations.

I am highly qualified to provide tutorial assistance on all FAA ground school topics. Such services would likely be offered for a fee, however.

If you are a UK pilot enquiring about license conversion, please contact the FAA International Field Office (IFO) in Jamaica, New York (near JFK Airport) via telephone. The specialists there ca provide you with canonical answers that you can then use.

Otherwise, if you are potentially interested in my services, please contact me via the email address that you see on the railroad-related website address listed with this advert. Please be sure to include a contact telephone number and a description of your circumstances.

Thank you for your interest!
