Due to continued expansion, Strathaven Airfield would like to offer an autogyro instructor the chance to run Scotland's first gyro school.
Strathaven Airfield is within an hour's drive of half the population of Scotland and has three grass runways and a thriving microlight school offering training on two C42 three-axis microlights and two 912 Quamtum weightshift microlight.
There are already three full-time instructors based at the airfield, along with a resident flight and ground examiner.
The airfield can also offer accommodation in a luxuy caravan for students on residential courses and is outside controlled airspace. It has full planning consent for unlimited movements and no hours restrictions on operations.
Full admin back-up is also provided for instructors to handle bookings, process payments and greet customers.
And with our microlight flights and hovercraft experiences, there is substantial scope for cross-selling gift vouchers to our thousands of satisfied customers.
